About Noelle & Clever Tortoise

For the past 16 years I have been providing scientifically supported bespoke programmes to both individual programmes for families, schools, nurseries in London. The programmes and training programmes have been targeting a range of skills including language development, play skills, social skills, self help and independence, executive functioning and organisation, school readiness and emotional regulation as well as behavioural management.

 I  have worked with children and young people from 2 – 18 years old. Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Fragile X Syndrome, Global Development Delay , language impairment, oppositional defiant disorder as well as a larger number of children who need some support with specific learning, language or behavioural concerns.

The first and most important thing that I have learned from my job is that no two children are the same, they can grow up in the same house, have the same parents but be so different, they will learn and interact differently, they will cause different problems and deal with them differently and constantly test out theories and experiences. It has made everyday I have worked challenging and so enjoyable in equal measure.

I have been part of so many children’s learning and development journeys and have picked up many strategies and helpful ideas to try along the way and so The Clever Tortoise was born —- Colin the tortoise embodies all that I value, how I approach every task, how i define success and progress and the importance of more than one idea.

The Clever Tortoise is here to provide support to parents/guardians of all children to supporting their emotional, mental, academic and social development no matter the cause or size of the concern.
